«Gamtos gidų kursai» [Nature guide course]

The Nature Guides training course will be organized in the protected areas of Western Lithuania. The aim is to acquire the skills of nature guiding and interpretation of nature, get acquainted with the principles of natural habitats, values of protected areas, meet enthusiastic naturalists, scientists and practitioners.

Dr. Diana Vaičiūtė (Marine Research Institute)  will give a 4 hour interactive lecture where a special attention will be provided for the EO-based Marine monitoring, Land monitoring for natural and anthropogenic hazards. Students will be offered a first introduction in the opportunities available by the set of data available from the Copernicus missions, such as Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2. Following the presentations, the students will have the opportunity to test the knowledge they acquired through an informative game-based learning platform.
