GEOBIA Summer School

“OBIA for the operational Copernicus service challenge”

Jointly organized by Z_GISUNIGIS and CopHub.AC , this Summer School is held in Salzburg, Austria, June 29 – July 10, 2020 and will provide an overview on Copernicus, its data and services and a profound introduction and training in object-based image analysis (OBIA) with different software.

Copernicus for Digital Earth Summer School

Benefit from the potential of freely available Satellite data and Copernicus services for your domain.

This Summer School explored the potential of freely available satellite data and derived information products. A focus will be set on data from the European Earth Observation Programme Copernicus – and its services in the fields of Atmosphere, Marine Environment, Land, Climate Change, Emergency Management and Security.

Copernicus Master

The two year full-time integrated programme aims at qualifying individuals to lead initiatives, projects and institutions translating Copernicus data (remote sensing and in-situ) into information for management decisions within a broader Digital Earth vision.

Study Earth Observation and Geoinformatics in the first academic year. Two Specialization Tracks offer outstanding candidates a pathway towards excellence in GeoData Science as well as GeoVisualization and Geocommunication in the second year of studies. The Geographic Information Science / Systems (GIS) Master of Science programme is offered as double degree in English language.
